So you want to start a TravelBlogr blog but are worried that you will not be able to navigate the system. You know, some geeky programmer who speaks a language that neither you nor anyone you know understands made this seemingly easy thing called a blog and now it is, for some odd reason hard.

I certainly know what that feels like, as I was where you stand now…a bit confused with it all and wondering what to do next.

I have made sure, to the best of my ability that the system is easy enough for the newest of newbie’s so I am happy to announce that you now can pick from a simple or advanced UI (that’s user interface). :)

When you create your TravelBlogr blog you are  now asked if you would like to use the easy admin or advanced areas. The easy admin will walk you through 3 simple steps to get your blog up and running. You will see a page like this when you are looking to create a new post or page;

The easy admin area of TravelBlogr.

Simple enough…I just wish they had something like this when I started out, it would have saved me countless hours digging through search engines and reading user manuals trying to figure out what I wanted to do and create.

The advanced area is the same as the old standard area. Nothing has changed except for the following;

  • a ? that, when rolled over generate a popup that explains the specific area in question.
  • a bar on top of the page allowing you access to the easy admin area, with one simple click.

Here is an image of the current advanced admin area…

Now it is easier than ever to create and write your travel blog. The hardest thing will be trying to figure out where to go!

Enjoy!
